at the Walled Garden on Saturday 7 September 

Explore your writing with award winning author, Helena Attlee and creative writing practitioner Emma Beynon in the beautiful surroundings of the Walled Garden.

During this dynamic and practical workshop, Helena and Emma will lead you through a series of carefully designed exercises steeped in sensory experience, while introducing you to the work of some of our finest writers, old and new.

By the end of the day you will have learned new skills and increased your confidence. You can expect to leave the workshop with some finely crafted writing and the impulse to develop new writing habits.

This day will suit anyone who enjoys writing from complete beginners to experienced writers.   It will also provide a wonderful opportunity to deepen your appreciation of this beautiful garden.

The workshop will run from 10.30am to 4.30pm including a light two course lunch.

Cost £50 per head, maximum 10 participants.

Emma Beynon leads creative writing workshops in Mid Wales and Iceland. She is currently writing a book on sailing in the arctic, based on her articles published in Marine Quarterly.
