Full day workshop with Steve Lannin
at the Walled Garden Treberfydd on Thursday 15 Feb 2018
This one day workshop will look the at the principles and techniques of rose pruning using a variety of examples in the Walled Garden and in the grounds of Treberfydd House. There will be practical advice on where to site different types of rose and also how to rejuvenate old and overgrown roses. There will be a hot lunch beside a roaring fire but do come well wrapped up.
The workshop will run from 10am to 4pm including a two course lunch. Coffee will be available beforehand from 9.30am and tea and cake afterwards from 4pm.
Cost £80 per head, maximum 12 participants.
Steve Lannin is Head Gardener at Mapperton, Dorset. He was formerly head gardener for Arne Maynard at Allt y Bella near Usk and prior to that at Sudeley Castle and Lowther Castle. His particular expertise, and passions, are rose pruning and topiary.
