Opening Hours
CLOSED SAT 9 FEB DUE TO HIGH WINDS
Open daily April to October, open Tuesday to Saturday from November to March, and open by appointment between December 16 and January 31 (it is very dark, cold and windy then but there is always someone around checking the plants and filling the bird feeders if you call first). Opening hours April to September 10am to 5pm, Sundays 11am to 4pm. October to March 10am to 4pm.
Tea and cake
There is a small cafe area with coffee, tea and cake available from April to September between 11am and 4pm.
Groups
Group tours, teas and lunches can be arranged.
Treberfydd House
The open dates for 2018 are Mon 9 April to Sun 22 April and Mon 16 July to Sunday 29 July. The house and gardens are open for the NGS on Sunday 29 July.
Directions
The Walled Garden Treberfydd is in Wales between the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains, just south of Llangors Lake at an altitude of around 600ft. The nursery is just two miles from the A40 about 15 miles west of Abergavenny, five miles east of Brecon and 15 miles south of Hay-on-Wye.
From Abergavenny on the A40 turn right at Bwlch towards Llangors. The Walled Garden Treberfydd is signposted left after two miles, then right at the T-junction and the nursery is on your right after a quarter of a mile.
From Brecon on the A40 after about three miles turn left just after Peterstone Court on the right. The Walled Garden Treberfydd is signposted and will be on your left after about two miles.
From Hay-on-Wye take the A438 towards Brecon, turn left for Talgarth, then on to Llangors. After Llangors, the Walled Garden Treberfydd is signposted right after two miles, then turn right at the T-junction and the nursery is on your right after a quarter of a mile.
